Front Line Leader Effectiveness

How can a front line leader learn to better prioritize for maximum team effectiveness?

⭐ Manage expectations, deliver results and ensure your team feels supported by:

1. Knowing and understanding the organization's strategic goals- what are the company priorities - align the team's work to the things that matter most.

2. Communicate regularly to ensure and solidify that your team is clear on the shared objectives and organizational outcomes. *Note- if your team does not understand what is most important, you are responsible for helping with that understanding! Not everyone will "get it" because you said it once.

3. Delegate effectively. You will be a great leader when you can delegate by using your team's strengths and then get out of the way to let them actually do the work. Don't be a barrier to execution.

4. Learn to say "no" by determining the impact of the ask - you might have the ability to do it but you might not have the capacity.

5. Learn and using the Eisenhower Matrix (Urgent and Important, Not Urgent still Important, Urgent and Not Important, Not Urgent and Not Important) or another method for clear understanding of importance and urgency.

6. Realize feedback matters (both up and down) and will help you refine process and priority even more effectively. Accept it with grace.
